How we protect your data
Vitals uses your information to provide your health-record service. You choose what to add and can export or request deletion of your record.
Protecting your record
We use encrypted connections, account access controls and access logging to help protect information. No online service is risk-free. Vitals is in private preview, and we continue to develop and review its safeguards; we do not claim independent security certification.
AI and specialist processing
Some features use relevant parts of your record to provide AI explanations or other requested processing, subject to your consent. Clinical genetic findings are excluded from AI context. Records are currently stored outside Australia, and specialist processing includes recipients in the United States.

Improving Vitals
We use de-identified, aggregated service data to understand performance and improve the product. This does not give us unrestricted permission to reuse identifiable health records. Any future optional use of identifiable health or genetic information for development, research or model training would require a separate opt-in.
