Regulatory information

Vitals helps you organise, display and understand health information you already have, and prepare questions for a qualified health professional.

Intended purpose and status

Vitals is not included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods. It is not intended to diagnose, screen for, monitor, predict or treat a disease or condition, provide clinical decision-making, or replace professional care.

Feature changes must be assessed against their intended purpose and applicable requirements. This page does not claim a blanket regulatory exemption or approval.

Using the information

Results, reference ranges, trends and AI explanations are information to review with your clinician. They are not instructions to start, stop or change treatment. Vitals is not an emergency service. Read the medical disclaimer.

Your rights

Applicable privacy and health-records laws and the Australian Consumer Law continue to apply. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling and privacy requests; our Terms of Service explain use of the platform. Neither removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
